Entropic & Other writings

"This is not me — this is Mrs Khalis. Sitting at the bus stop, she waits for the two-twenty-nine, supper to be cooked, her husband to come home and the messiah to return. I could have been Mrs Khalis, but I am not."
— from Entropic

A collection of writings illustrating the theory of entropy to text — fragmentary, messy at times, yet flowing continuously without the urge to stop at meaning-making. Short fiction and mixed-form writing for readers of Lydia Davis and Italo Calvino.

SAMPLE OF WRITING

— Swoosh! With the exactitude of a ninja warrior, Mr Gadda strikes with his shoe. The fly's squashed body, blotting page 45, marks ‘The history of the night’. Up close, he observes its delicate wings cleaved to the sole of his shoe. The kettle is almost boiling.
